ax25-node software package provides Amateur Packet Radio Node program, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ax25-node
ax25-node is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ax25-node package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ax25-node *
You will get with ax25-node package name, version, architecture and description in a table
